Message of the day.

We all should accept our faults.

As based theoretically and upon my own experience i found this one phrase very common among the population .

They say “it’s my life, i will do want i want ,”. I bet you it has done more damage than good.

QUALITIES THAT MAKES A PERSON SUCCESSFUL.

1.DESIRE

The motivation to succeed comes from the burning desire to achieve

a purpose. Napoleon Hill wrote,”Whatever the mind of man can conceive

and believe, the mind can achieve.

Here is a short story .

A young man asked Socrates the secret to success. Socrates told the

young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met and Socrates

asked the young man to walk with him toward the river. When the water

got up to their necks, Socrates took the young man by surprise and pushed

him under the water. The boy struggled to get out but Socrates kept him there.

When the boy started turning blue, Socrates raised the boy’s head out of the water.

The first thing the boy did was to take a deep breath of air. Socrates asked, “what did

you want the most when you were under water? ” The boy replied, “Air.” Socrates said,

“That’s is the secret of success. When you want success as badly as you wanted air underwater, you will have it.” There is no other secret.

This is called the burning desire. In the business community, we call it the fire in the belly. In the sports community, we call it the

killer instinct.

A burning desire is the starting point of all accomplishment. Just like a small fire cannot give much heat, a weak desire cannot produce great results.

Do attitudes go from one generation to the next?

The answer is absolutely yes. No wonder we find some families and societies  more positive than others.

WHEN WE BECOME AWARE OF OUR NEGATIVE ATTITUDE,

WHY DON’T WE CHANGE?

Human nature generally resists change. Change is uncomfortable.

Regardless of whether it is positive or negative, change can often be stressful. Sometimes

we get so comfortable with our negativity that even when the change is for the better, we  don’t want to accept it. We prefer to stay with the comfort of the negative.

Charles Dickens wrote about a prisoner who was locked up for many years in a dungeon.

After serving his sentence, he got his freedom. He was brought out from his cell into the

bright daylight of the open world. This man looked all around and after a few moments

was so uncomfortable with his newly acquired freedom that he asked to be taken back to the confines  of his cell. To him the dungeon, the chains and the darkness were more familiar, secure and comfortable than accepting the change of freedom and an open world.

If your attitude is negative your life is restricted. your success at work will be limited.

you will not enjoy life to it’s fullest.

Two books every individual should read.

The Gita gives you the unique way of life that eases off your tension and you enjoy a happy life. Gita, apart from being a religious scripture, is a scripture of life as well. It is a way of life based on faith and devotion. Reading Gita is good enough but it has a lot more to it. The Upanishads are “wisdom teachings” that explore the deeper, internal meaning of sacrifice. Jnana – revolutionary wisdom that transforms and enlightens one’s consciousness – is an important goal of Upanishadicteachings . There are about 108 Upanishads. Upanishads teach us about the Supreme reality, aka, Brahman, which is umanifest, imperishable, formless.
